Drawing upon her background as a scholar, researcher, college instructor, and human relations trainer, she develops customized programs to assist adult audiences to increase their awareness of the impact of cultural diversity on relationships and communication and to enhance their Intercultural Competence. |
Dr. Hamlin has lived and worked in many diverse
countries and cultural settings and traveled widely around the world.
She applies her research on differences in cognitive and leadership styles to understanding how cultural socialization interacts with stylist differences to shape human perception, communication, and behavior. She teaches courses in Interpersonal and Multicultural Communication at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. |
