"Charlotte Webspinner" is the professional name that storyteller Charlotte Hamlin uses when she is spinning tales and singing songs that engage, amuse, entertain, education, inspire and motivate audiences of all ages. Wearing funny hats, dancing, playing her autoharp and washboard, with puppets and costumes, she engages audiences in bringing to life stories that convey a message as well as entertain. Having lived and worked in Europe and nine states in the US, she specializes in folk and multicultural tales and personal stories that draw on her extensive background as a teacher, trainer, and performer in many settings.

Curriculum-linked programs for schools are grounded in her experience as an elementary teacher in England and the USA, and her graduate degrees (MA and Ph.D.) in human development and counseling.

 Her UNIQUE technique performance style is well-received by adults as well as children as Charlotte Webspinner spins tales of action and humor with plenty of dramatic action, audience participation, group singing and costumes. She wears so many remarkable HATS from around the world that she is often called "The Hats Lady"!
